This season Sebastian Zinca leads the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, the Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic, and the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. During his two years as assistant conductor of the Real Filharmonía de Galicia (2024-2025) he conducted thirty-four performances with the orchestra in addition to his work assisting chief conductor Baldur Brönnimann.

"He is an intelligent and passionate musician who has a very well developed sense of musical and dramatic priorities. I am very impressed with his control of space, his connection with the music, and his engagement with the musicians."
-Mark Wigglesworth
"Mr. Zinca is a very talented young conductor with a loving, humble approach to music. He is a sensitive musician who understands music profoundly, and is able to transmit his ideas to the orchestra with assurance and commitment."
-Sakari Oramo
"Zinca not only dominates the structure of the work, but makes it shine, supported by the Real Filharmonía de Galicia which moves like a fish in water in this repertoire, although in which, despite their long experience, it never hurts to have ideas like those of the Miami-born conductor to get more expressiveness and a more steely and modern style."
-Scherzo Classical Music Magazine
"Another crucial aspect, in the conducting of Sebastian Zinca, is his weighting between the orchestral forces that he extracts and his respect for the purely chamber nature of the score... he has known how to refine the interpretation..."
